When people hear “coworking space,” they usually picture desks, laptops, private offices, and conference rooms. That makes sense. It is what FireWorks is built around every day.
But one of the things we have learned over the years is that the same flexibility that makes coworking useful for professionals can also make it a really good fit for meetings, events, and gatherings that need something a little different.
Not every event fits neatly into one category. Some are too involved for a restaurant or coffee shop but do not need a large venue. Some need a professional setup without feeling overly formal. Some need room to move, space for food, technology, privacy, or simply the ability to make the environment feel right for the group.
That is where FireWorks works a little differently.
Our space is almost completely modular, which means we can move furniture, remove it when needed, open up larger areas, and rethink the setup depending on what someone is actually trying to host. Clients can book a meeting room, use a larger portion of the space, or arrange a partial or full space rental depending on what makes the most sense.
Instead of starting with a fixed room setup and asking you to work around it, we would rather start with the event itself.
Flexibility Is Built Into the Space
Flexibility is already part of how FireWorks operates every day.
People use coworking spaces differently depending on what they need, and our space was designed with that in mind. The furniture is not permanently fixed in place. Rooms and common areas can be adjusted. Larger sections of the space can be opened up. Clients can bring in what they need to make the event feel like their own.
That gives us a lot more freedom when it comes to hosting.
The goal is not to make every event look completely different just for the sake of it. It is to think about how people will actually use the space and build the setup around that.
Will guests be seated the entire time or moving around? Is food part of the event? Does everyone need to see a screen? Does the space need to feel more professional, more relaxed, or somewhere in between? Does the host want one private room or more freedom to spread out?
Those are much more useful questions than simply asking which room someone wants to rent.
It also means we can accommodate gatherings that may not fit perfectly into a standard meeting room. FireWorks has hosted everything from professional events and private receptions to photoshoots and even a wedding reception, but the reason those events have worked here is not because we designed the building specifically for any one of them. It is because the space can adapt.
The Right Setup Makes Hosting Easier
Anyone who has planned an event knows that the actual event is only part of the work.
There are usually a lot of small decisions happening behind the scenes before anyone ever walks through the door. Furniture needs to be arranged. Food needs to show up at the right time. Technology needs to work. Vendors need to know where to go. Guests need clear information. Then, once everything starts, someone still has to keep an eye on all of it.
That is one of the reasons we think flexibility should go beyond the room itself.
When you host at FireWorks, our team can be as involved as you need us to be.
Some clients already have everything planned and simply need a space that can be prepared the way they want it. In that case, we can help get things ready and give them the room to run the event themselves.
Others would rather have more support. Our team can assist with setup, catering, marketing, vendor coordination, event flow, and cleanup depending on what the event calls for.
There is no one level of involvement that every client has to choose.
Sometimes you just need the space.
Sometimes you want help taking a few things off your plate.
Sometimes you would rather hand over most of the logistics so you can focus on the people who are actually there.
We can work with all three.
Local Connections Can Make Planning Simpler

Being part of the Marietta community also helps when it comes to planning events.
FireWorks has built relationships with local restaurants, caterers, businesses, and organizations over the years, which means we can often help clients navigate some of the decisions that come with hosting locally.
If someone needs catering for a meeting or event, our team can help coordinate it. If they need recommendations, we have local connections we can draw from. If they already have a vendor they love, they are welcome to bring that into the plan too.
The point is not to force people into a specific package. It is to make the process easier when they want the help.
That local piece matters to us because FireWorks is not just a space that happens to be in Marietta. We are part of the community here, and that gives us a better understanding of what is nearby, what works well, and who we can call when a client needs something.
It also gives people a way to host something professional or personal in Marietta without automatically sending everyone into Atlanta.
The Practical Details Matter Too
A beautiful setup is great, but the basics still have to work.
FireWorks offers ample free parking onsite, which can make a big difference when you are bringing a group of people together. Guests do not have to find a garage, pay to park, or add another layer of logistics before the event even starts.
The space also includes fiber internet, presentation screens, mobile whiteboards, kitchen access, and other features that can support different kinds of gatherings depending on what is needed.
Those things are not necessarily the reason someone chooses a space, but they can absolutely affect how easy the day feels once people arrive.
And because FireWorks is located in Marietta, you can keep the event local while still being close to Atlanta and the rest of Metro Atlanta.
Flexible Does Not Mean One Size Fits All
One of the reasons we have leaned further into meetings and events is because there is so much room between a traditional conference room and a large event venue.
A lot of people are looking for something in the middle.
They want a professional space, but they still want personality. They need enough room, but not necessarily an enormous venue. They may want help with some of the planning, but not a full service package. They want something that can feel polished without feeling rigid.
That middle ground is where FireWorks tends to work really well.
We naturally lean toward professional and corporate gatherings because of the way the space is built, but we are not limited to those. If the setup makes sense and the space can support it, we are open to hearing the idea.
That is really the point.
We do not want to define FireWorks by a long list of event types.
We want people to understand that the space and the team are flexible enough to help shape something around what they are planning.
Start With What You Need

If you are considering FireWorks for a meeting or event, you do not need to have every detail figured out before you reach out.
Tell us what you are planning.
Tell us how many people are coming.
Tell us how you want the event to feel and what needs to happen while everyone is here.
From there, we can help you think through the space, setup, food, technology, timing, and any other pieces you would like support with.
Sometimes the right answer will be one meeting room.
Sometimes it will be a larger portion of the space.
Sometimes it may make sense to take over FireWorks more fully. The setup should come after we understand the event, not before. That is what flexibility looks like to us.
FireWorks is a local meeting and event space in Marietta, just outside Atlanta, with flexible rental options, ample free parking, and a team that can be as involved as you need. Whether you are planning something professional, something personal, or something that does not fit neatly into either category, bring us the idea. We will help you figure out what the space needs to become.
